Position
Summary:
Fillmore Family Medicine is looking for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our growing practice.
Located in Fillmore, Utah this rural setting will offer a variety of care paradigms from newborn to geriatric.
Essential Job Functions:
Treatment and diagnosis of patients, prescribing medications, documentation in EMR and billing correct medical codes.
Candidate should be caring and compassionate, willing to work with a variety of age groups.
Candidate should be competent and able to complete medical records within 48 hours.
Performs physical exams, collects and documents data, conducts approved diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, orders laboratory studies, prescribes appropriate interventions and medications.
Contributes to excellent patient care.
Provides direct clinical services.
Documents findings noting pertinent normal and abnormal findings.
Interprets and integrates data to determine preliminary diagnosis and therapeutic plan.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates appropriate diagnostic and laboratory tests to identify and assess patient's clinical problems and health care needs.
Provides medical care and treatment to patients, under prescribed guidelines and direction of Physician.
Collaborates with physicians in managing acute and long-term medical needs of patients.
Documents patient preparation and response to procedure.
Formulates and implements treatment plan for illness management.
When appropriate discusses case with physician and other health professionals to prepare comprehensive patient care plan.
Prescribes or recommends drugs or other forms of treatment.
Documents appropriately in patient's medical record.
Displays willingness to make decisions; exhibits sound and accurate judgment; supports and explains reasoning for decisions.
Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; looks for ways to improve and promote quality; applies feedback to improve performance.
Monitors own work to ensure quality.
Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations.
Responds well to patient's questions.
Other duties as assigned.
Compiles patient medical data, including health history and results of physical examination.
Qualifications:
Licensed PA/NP in the State of Utah.
Some experience beneficial but willing to train recent graduates.
Must also have a valid DEA license.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
